Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tad Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Louie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guzman drives through with a takedown into Louie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Guzman won't allow Louie to sweep him here.
Guzman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Guzman postures up in Louie's guard and throws a big left but Louie blocks it.
Guzman wanted to stand there but Louie had control of the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Louie tries to land knees in the clinch but Guzman avoids the damage to the body.

Louie manages to break the clinch.

Louie moves into range and clinches up with Guzman.

Louie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Louie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guzman, pushing him back against the cage.

Louie manages to break the clinch.
Louie scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Tad Guzman has been cut.

Guzman shoots in and bounces Louie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Louie manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Louie can't find room to land a body shot as Guzman controls the action.
Guzman is pressed up against the cage. Louie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Guzman down to the mat. Guzman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Guzman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Louie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guzman is in Louie's guard.

Louie throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Louie wants to improve his position but instead Guzman has moved into half guard.
Louie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guzman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Louie wants to control but Guzman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Guzman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Guzman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Louie is just riding it out for now. Guzman eventually gives up the hold.
Louie wants to improve his position but Guzman is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

King Louie dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tad Guzman's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Guzman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Louie is trying to hold Guzman in close to prevent damage but Guzman has managed to pass into half guard.
Guzman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Louie wants to control but Guzman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Guzman seems to be working for a kimura but Louie defends the submission attempt.

Louie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Louie wants to control but Guzman passes into side.

Louie is trying to control Guzman's posture but Guzman avoids it.

Guzman stands up and we're back to a striking position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Louie shoots in looking for a takedown. Guzman tries to sprawl out of it but Louie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Guzman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Louie gets caught flat footed, as Guzman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Guzman connects with a couple of short punches.
Guzman is looking to work some ground and pound but Louie has wrist control.
Guzman chips away with some ground and pound.
Louie is breathing heavily.

Guzman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Louie, up you get!

Guzman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Guzman scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Louie to see if he's OK.

Louie wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Guzman seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Louie is tapping! Wow, great finish!
