The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capaldi swings widly with a right hand
and Thunder makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Capaldi really felt that one!
Capaldi misses with a double jab
and Thunder counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Capaldi thinking.

and Thunder counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Capaldi is breathing heavily.
Thunder lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Peter Capaldi has been cut.
Capaldi misses the body punch
and Thunder counters with an inside leg kick.
Capaldi needs to keep his hands up - Thunder had a free shot at his head there.

Thunder lands a big right hand that sends Capaldi crashing to the mat! Thunder stays standing though and waves Capaldi back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thunder darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Capaldi's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Thunder before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
