Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monsun Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rasputin Erasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erasmus has chosen Rasputin as his entrance music. Rasputin Erasmus will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rasputin Erasmus!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A left lands for Erasmus.

It looks like Monsun Moon has been cut.
Erasmus dips to his left and cracks Moon with an uppercut!
Erasmus throws a head kick that misses
and Moon makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Rasputin Erasmus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moon slips under a jab from Erasmus.

Moon looking to score a takedown here. Erasmus is defending well but Moon drives through and ends up in Erasmus's guard.
Moon looking to sit in guard and control but Erasmus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Erasmus told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Moon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Moon throws a big elbow that misses.
Moon tries to free his leg and advance position but Erasmus is retaining full guard.
Moon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Erasmus works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Moon is working Erasmus over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Moon is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Erasmus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Erasmus has escaped and now he's on top!

Moon has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Erasmus tries to stand but Moon is controlling from the bottom.

Erasmus decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Erasmus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Moon drops down looking for a counter takedown but Erasmus sprawls and moves away.

Moon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Erasmus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Erasmus lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Erasmus's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Erasmus duly obliges.
Moon gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Erasmus gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Moon is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
