Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julius Cesar Snellman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speedy Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julius Cesar Snellman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Speedy Light!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snellman closes the distance and clinches up with Light, looking for a takedown. Snellman pushes Light against the cage but Light circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Light doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Snellman clinches with his opponent.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Light is trying to break the clinch but Snellman is controlling him.
Snellman drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Light gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Snellman stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Snellman lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Snellman lands a left hand.

Snellman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Snellman pushes Light up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Snellman lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Snellman gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Light regains guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snellman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Snellman trying to control the position from guard on top but Light is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Light can do anything to dispel that myth.

Light working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snellman.
Snellman with a flurry of punches that miss.
Snellman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Snellman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Light is keeping the position for now.
Light is looking to stand up but Snellman isn't so interested in that idea.
Snellman trying to control but Light is working from the bottom.
Snellman pushing down on Light's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Snellman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Light really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snellman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Light is trying to control but can't.
Snellman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Snellman misses with a head shot. Light uses the momentum to regain guard.
Snellman looking to pass the guard.
Snellman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Light works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Snellman won't allow Light to get back to his feet.
Snellman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Light is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Snellman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Snellman dodges the punch combination from Light.
Snellman tries for a takedown but Light circles away easily
and Light counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julius Cesar Snellman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Snellman gets a clinch.
Light tries a body shot but Snellman blocks it.

Snellman gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Snellman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snellman slips a nice elbow through Light's hands, connecting with Light's forehead.
Light is not content to let Snellman control the position.
Snellman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Snellman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Snellman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Light is looking to improve his position.
Snellman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snellman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Snellman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Light's head.
Snellman trying to control the action but Light is working from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Snellman connects with a nice short shot to Light's temple.
Snellman controlling the action here.
Snellman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Snellman missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Snellman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Julius Cesar Snellman dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Snellman pushes Light up against the cage in a clinch.
Light is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Snellman.
Snellman is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Light can do to turn this around?
Snellman digs a right hand into Light's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Light's gas tank.

Snellman gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Light has hold of Snellman's hands but Snellman slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


Light is rocked!
Snellman scores with a big shot! Light's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Light! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julius Cesar Snellman!
Julius Cesar Snellman tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
