Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Goran Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shoto Murasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murasaki has chosen PRIDE FC Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shoto Murasaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 73 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Goran Schwarzeneg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shoto Murasaki!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murasaki looks to land a body kick but Schwarzeneg moved away.
Murasaki throws a head kick but Schwarzeneg moves out of range.

Schwarzeneg looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Murasaki!

Schwarzeneg has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Schwarzeneg shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Schwarzeneg throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murasaki was covering up waiting for the punch and Schwarzeneg finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Murasaki wants to get back to his feet but Schwarzeneg is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Murasaki has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Schwarzeneg off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Murasaki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schwarzeneg pinned against the cage. Schwarzeneg gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Schwarzeneg takes the fight into the clinch.

Schwarzeneg has Murasaki pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Schwarzeneg pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Murasaki tumbling to the mat - Schwarzeneg dives into Murasaki's guard.
Murasaki is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Murasaki is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Schwarzeneg is controlling him.
Schwarzeneg postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Murasaki is wriggling around but Schwarzeneg manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Murasaki throws out a leg kick but Schwarzeneg moves out of range and Murasaki only half commits.

Schwarzeneg is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Murasaki presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Schwarzeneg has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Murasaki uses from the top position.

Schwarzeneg takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Murasaki wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Schwarzeneg manages to pass to side control.

Schwarzeneg is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Murasaki pushes Schwarzeneg off looking to stand but Schwarzeneg dives back in and keeps control.

Murasaki shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Goran Schwarzeneg is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Murasaki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Schwarzeneg's waist but Schwarzeneg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murasaki off to one side.
Goran Schwarzeneg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shoto Murasaki.
Murasaki is breathing heavily.
Schwarzeneg cracks Murasaki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Murasaki shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Schwarzeneg counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Murasaki looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Schwarzeneg feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Murasaki sprawling to the canvas! Murasaki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Schwarzeneg finish him?!


Murasaki is rocked!


It looks like Shoto Murasaki has been cut.
Murasaki is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Schwarzeneg Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Murasaki is out cold, face down on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Goran Schwarzeneg!
In defeat, Shoto Murasaki stepped up to the mic, saying 'People get caught, it's not extraordinary for me. I'll be back strong.'.
