Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Beaver Buzzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mateus Gracie will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie is looking to clinch but Buzzer is avoiding it.
Buzzer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gracie as he jumps to the side.

Buzzer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Buzzer tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.
Gracie is looking to stand back up but Buzzer counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gracie.
Buzzer wants to free his trapped foot but Gracie is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gracie is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Buzzer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Buzzer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracie dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Buzzer is breathing heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Buzzer shoots for a takedown but Gracie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mateus Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Buzzer moves into the clinch.
Gracie tries to throw a body punch but Buzzer avoids it by throwing Gracie back against the cage.

Gracie has Buzzer pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Gracie pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Buzzer tumbling to the mat - Gracie dives into Buzzer's guard.

Gracie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Buzzer keeps moving.

Gracie wants to take a breather but Buzzer is having none of it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Buzzer manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Buzzer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Buzzer manages to get to full guard.

Buzzer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gracie is fighting to break Buzzer's control of his arms but Buzzer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Buzzer wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.

Buzzer wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Gracie is now in half guard.
Buzzer wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
Buzzer is working hard here to advance position.

Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Buzzer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gracie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Buzzer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Gracie is defending against the submission attempts here by Buzzer.
Buzzer wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beaver Buzzer dominated that second round.
That's time! Buzzer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gracie throws a half hearted mid kick.
A head kick misses from Gracie.

Gracie rushes Buzzer and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Buzzer keeps control of Gracie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gracie pushes off an throws an elbow but Buzzer leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Gracie prevents a takedown attempt there.

Gracie ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gracie no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Buzzer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
