Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quintonio Vazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Cano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Quintonio Vazquez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Cano!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cano closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vazquez to the mat! Vazquez manages to get full guard.
Vazquez can't keep his opponent in guard - Cano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Cano is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Vazquez defends it well.
Cano is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Cano with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Cano is working for a guillotine from mount but Vazquez frees his head quite easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vazquez working to try and regain half guard.

Cano is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vazquez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Vazquez has given up his back. Will we see Cano going for some submissions?
Well, with Cano on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Vazquez is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Cano working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Vazquez really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Cano's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
You can see the frustration on Vazquez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
