Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tatton Chantry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Koji Yano!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yano connects with a high kick.


It looks like Tatton Chantry has been cut.
Chantry throws a hook but Yano avoids it easily.
Chantry misses with a low kick.
Chantry lands a nice looking body shot.
Chantry scores with a nice strike.
Yano lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Yano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Yano attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Yano checks a leg kick nicely.
Yano misses the shot to the body.
Chantry throws a hook but Yano blocks it.
Yano cracks a nice hook into Chantry's ribs.
A big right from Chantry misses.
Yano is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chantry with a body shot.
Yano moves out of range as Chantry strikes.
And Yano responds with a good body kick, but Chantry manages to step out the way in time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yano scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chantry doesn't seem bothered though.

Chantry finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chantry steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Yano. That one must have hurt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Yano. That's going to slow Chantry down.
Yano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yano is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Chantry rather than just go for the knockout.
Yano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tatton Chantry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yano thumps Chantry with a low kick.
Chantry fails to land with a series of punches.
Chantry paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Chantry connects with a jab.
Yano slips a straight right by Chantry.
Yano fails to land with a series of punches.
Chantry attempts a counter takedown but Yano avoids it well and moves away.
Chantry connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chantry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chantry misses with a leg kick
and Yano counters with a nice kick to the body.
Chantry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yano moves away.

Yano lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Chantry misses with a low kick as Yano jumps back.
Yano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Yano scores with a decent looking hook.
Chantry throws a nice looking combination but Yano bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Yano lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Chantry throws a body punch but Yano moves out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Yano misses.
Chantry pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Yano slips under a jab.
Chantry swings for the body but Yano moves out of range.
Yano feints a counter leg kick.
Yano slips under a jab from Chantry.
Chantry is looking to slow Yano down with leg kicks.
Yano cracks the inside of Chantry's front leg.
Yano lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Chantry thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yano unleashes a big counter combination but Chantry bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Chantry jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Yano connects with a jab.


Chantry is rocked!
A head kick by Yano - that's a beauty! Chantry is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Yano can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Koji Yano!
Koji Yano decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Tatton Chantry was interviewed post fight and said 'Hey guys, that's it now. I'm done. It's been a helluva run but it's time to hang up the gloves. Thank you.'.
