The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Villegas.

and Turner counters with a left and a right that stings Villegas.

Turner lands a big head kick that sends Villegas tumbling to the mat! Turner takes a step backwards and waves Villegas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Turner throws a hook but Villegas blocks it.
Villegas swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Villegas throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Turner counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Villegas has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Turner.
Turner throws a jab but it's blocked by Villegas.

A quick step to the side and Turner tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Turner moves into the clinch.

Turner works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Turner is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Villegas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Turner is looking to defend but Villegas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Turner! Villegas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Turner taps out and this one is all over!
