Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Strashko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Cieslak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Cieslak!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cieslak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Cieslak moves to clinch but Strashko breaks away
and Strashko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Strashko lands a jab to the nose.
Strashko circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cieslak moves to clinch but Strashko breaks away
letting Strashko counter with a right hand.
Cieslak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strashko paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Strashko bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Strashko looks up at the clock and then as Cieslak takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Strashko smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Cieslak is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Strashko is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Cieslak is rocked!

Strashko lands a strong strike to the head of Cieslak. That's dazed him! Strashko looking to finish here. Cieslak is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Strashko lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ivan Strashko!
Ivan Strashko made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Dont mess with cossacks you foolish englishman. And especially dont mess with Viking Cossacks.'.
