Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zod Wettin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Kowalczyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wettin comes to the cage accompanied by If You Dare by Jim Johnston. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalczyk throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wettin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kowalczyk doesn't seem bothered though.

Wettin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kowalczyk manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wettin forces his way into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wettin moves into full mount! Kowalczyk won't be happy about that!

Wettin with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Wettin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Wettin has got one arm under Kowalczyk's chin. This could be trouble... Kowalczyk trying to control the other hand but Wettin gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Kowalczyk has tapped out! The fight is over!
