Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gabriel Souza!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Souza is predictable there
and Patrick cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Gabriel Souza has been cut.
Patrick lands a slapping body shot.

Souza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Patrick using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Souza has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A left hand lands to the body for Patrick.
Souza wants to stall.
Patrick scores with a knee to the head.
Souza takes an elbow to the temple.
Patrick digs a right hand underneath Souza's ribcage. Souza let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Patrick drops Souza with a big knee straight up the middle! Souza is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Souza is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Patrick wobbles Souza with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Patrick dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Souza to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
