And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Josey Wales!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wales will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rua is staying active underneath Wales, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Rua throws a nice looking combination but Wales bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wales tries to clinch there but Rua circles away.
Rua fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wales looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Rua works over Wales's head and body with a nice combination.
