Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Goretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlton Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Goretti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I'm Too Sexy. Carlton Leach acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goretti uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leach.
Goretti misses with an uppercut.
Goretti uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leach.
Leach moves away from the strike by Goretti.
Goretti pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Goretti keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Leach.
Leach throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goretti pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Leach walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Goretti doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Leach looks to throw the jab but Goretti is out of range.
Leach tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Goretti was well out of range. Poor timing from Leach.
Goretti throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Leach counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Leach loads up on a big right hand but Goretti slips the punch.

Leach has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Leach ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Goretti is looking to score with low kicks.
Leach slips under a jab from Goretti.
Leach blocks the body kick.
Goretti lands a nice looking kick to the body. Leach takes a step back to recover.
Leach ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goretti moves away.
Leach blocks a head kick by Goretti.
A punch lands to the side of Goretti 's head but he takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Goretti swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Leach takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Goretti gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Leach misses with a straight left.
Leach takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Oh Goretti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leach throws out a loose jab but Goretti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Goretti throws a wild body kick that Leach sees coming a mile off.
Goretti seems to have got his legs back now.
Goretti throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Leach is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Goretti.
Leach jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Leach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leach cracks a nice hook into Goretti's ribs.
Goretti connects with a high kick.

It looks like Carlton Leach has been cut.
Goretti throws a lazy body kick
and Leach counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Leach is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Leach thows a left - swing and a miss!
Goretti lands a head kick!

Leach is rocked!
Leach looks to land a left hand but Goretti moved out of range nicely.
Goretti is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Leach.
Leach is still on wobbly legs! Can Goretti finish him?
The fighters circling - Leach throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Leach seems to have recovered his senses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Leach keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Goretti throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Goretti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Goretti walks into a left hand.
Leach drops Goretti with a huge uppercut! Goretti drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Leach is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
