These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chernov throws a leg kick
and Shillings cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chernov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Chernov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Chernov misses with a leg kick
and Shillings counters with a nice body kick.
Shillings throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shillings lands a head shot.
Shillings throws a hook but Chernov avoids it easily.
Shillings lands a nice shot to the body.
Shillings slips a straight right by Chernov.
Shillings throws a shot from downtown. Chernov moves away and avoids it.
Chernov takes one on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chernov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Chernov throws a body punch but Shillings moves out of range.
Chernov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chernov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shillings uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chernov has time to react.
Chernov misses with a looping left.
Shillings avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Chernov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shillings checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chernov swings away with a body shot that misses

and Shillings counters with a crisp one two that drops Chernov! Shillings thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Chernov to his feet! Chernov is in big trouble!

Chernov is rocked!
Chernov switches off momentarily and Shillings cracks him with a monster right hand! Chernov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Shillings dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Shillings!
