Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blanco Rosso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yegor Zaitzev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitzev fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Rosso closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zaitzev to the mat! Zaitzev manages to get full guard.

Rosso drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zaitzev manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rosso has Zaitzev in his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rosso's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Zaitzev is looking to stand up but Rosso won't let him.
Rosso tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Rosso is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rosso seems keen to control Zaitzev's posture.
Rosso is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rosso pulls Zaitzev in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Rosso counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Rosso is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Zaitzev is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
