Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orlando Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Crote walks into a left hand.
The crowd cheers as Diggs lands an impressive looking overhand right. De Crote doesn't seem phased though.
De Crote shoots in looking for a takedown but Diggs manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Crote's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little jabbing left from Diggs on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Diggs scores with a hook.

De Crote drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Diggs keeping full guard, as De Crote tries to pass.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Diggs holds on and takes a little breather.
Diggs keeping moving, preventing De Crote from controlling successfully.

Diggs escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Crote gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Diggs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Crote. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
De Crote passes into half guard.

De Crote seems to be working for a kimura but Diggs defends the submission attempt.
De Crote is thwarting Diggs's attempts to control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
De Crote seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Diggs does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

De Crote is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Diggs is just riding it out for now. De Crote eventually gives up the hold.

De Crote is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
De Crote performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Diggs wants to control but De Crote is keeping busy.

De Crote is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Piere De Crote dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Diggs moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Diggs keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

De Crote shoots in and drives through. Diggs sprawls well.
De Crote takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Diggs connects with an inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Crote feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

De Crote drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says De Crote as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Diggs screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with De Crote! Nice submission victory there!
