Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alton Pittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Art Caleb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Art Caleb!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caleb lands a head kick. Pittman smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Caleb is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Caleb looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pittman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Caleb as he jumps to the side.
Pittman sets himself, and Caleb steps forward looking for the clinch! Pittman avoids it this time.
Pittman shoots in for a double leg but Caleb sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pittman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Caleb gets a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Caleb throws a knee to the head but misses.

It looks like Alton Pittman has been cut.

Pittman is fighting off a takedown attempt but Caleb is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pittman to the mat. Pittman regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pittman thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Caleb is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Caleb had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pittman defends it easily.

Pittman has gone for a leg lock! Caleb slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pittman's guard.

Caleb shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pittman but Pittman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pittman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Caleb tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Pittman is in Caleb's guard.

Caleb pushes Pittman off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Caleb has one foot on Pittman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Caleb tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pittman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Caleb counters with a series of strikes. Pittman will be more careful next time no doubt.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Caleb.
A head kick by Caleb misses
and Pittman counters with a stiff right hand.
Caleb shoots in and drives through. Pittman sprawls well.
Alton Pittman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Art Caleb.

Pittman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Caleb tries to avoid it but Pittman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Caleb to the ground. Caleb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Caleb is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Caleb has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Caleb counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Pittman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Art Caleb showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pittman stuffs the takedown.
Caleb doesn't manage to clinch there - Pittman circles away.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Pittman counters with a shoot takedown. Caleb fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Art Caleb comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Caleb has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
