The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beastorious pinned against the cage. Beastorious gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beastorious throws the left hand but Severn avoids the punch easily.
Nice sprawl there from Beastorious as Severn shoots in.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Severn misses with a takedown attempt - Beastorious sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beast Severn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Severn shoots in but Beastorious avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Severn ducks under a wild hook from Beastorious.
Beastorious lands a big uppercut and Severn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Severn looks OK. Beastorious waves Severn back to his feet!
It looks like Beast Severn has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beastorious lands an uppercut, right on the button! Severn tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). El Beastorious! El Beastorious retains his heavyweight title!
