The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magomedov clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.
Tyson fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Magomedov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tyson has Magomedov up against the cage in a clinch.

Magomedov has Tyson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Magomedov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tyson tumbling to the mat - Magomedov dives into Tyson's guard.
Tyson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tyson wants to stand and escape but Magomedov is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Magomedov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson controls Magomedov momentarily but Magomedov frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Magomedov chips away with some ground and pound.
Magomedov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tyson is striking but Magomedov is not phased and passes to half guard.

Tyson is looking to control Magomedov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tyson avoid being mounted?
Tyson is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Magomedov jumps into side control!

Magomedov in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Magomedov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tyson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tyson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Tyson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tyson is trying to escape the position but Magomedov is controlling the position.
Magomedov working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Magomedov gets to mount! Tyson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Magomedov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Tyson tries to improve his position but Magomedov has taken his back! Magomedov has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Tyson tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Magomedov pushes Tyson away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
