Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank McDougal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Moreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daniel Moreira was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougal dives in and grabs Moreira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Moreira pushes down on McDougal's head and hops out.
Moreira fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Some wild striking there from Moreira.
Moreira scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
McDougal being controlled for a moment.
Moreira looks up at the clock and then as McDougal takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Moreira smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McDougal takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Moreira has hold of McDougal's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! McDougal tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Moreira cranks the arm and McDougal screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McDougal, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Daniel Moreira!
After winning the bout, Daniel Moreira thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
