Lapikov comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Hells Bells . Anatoliy Lapikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapikov looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lapikov takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lapikov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Brenertas on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
It looks like Lopaser Brenertas has been cut.
Lapikov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lapikov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lapikov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lapikov working over Brenertas with some ground and pound. Brenertas looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Lapikov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Brenertas is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lapikov scores with a couple of nice shots.
The cut above Lopaser Brenertas's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Brenertas trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Lapikov lands a nice shot to the head.
Lopaser Brenertas's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lopaser Brenertas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
