Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshido Nakamara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rogan Redban!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamara avoids the body shot from Redban.
Redban misses with a hook. Nakamara ducked under it nicely.
Nakamara steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Redban.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nakamara.
Redban has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nakamara throws a low kick, looking for Redban's leg but Redban calmly moves out of range.
Redban tries to counter by closing the distance.
Nakamara shoots in but Redban avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Redban tries to counter with a clinch but Nakamara shakes him off and moves away.

Redban cracks Nakamara with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Redban connects with a leg kick. Nakamara looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Nakamara's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Redban connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nakamara scrambles back to his feet.

Redban throws the left hand but Nakamara avoids the punch easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nakamara goes for a takedown attempt but Redban pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Redban. Nakamara does a little dance to reset his feet.

Redban throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Redban throws the left hand but Nakamara avoids the punch easily.
Nakamara tries to counter with a takedown but Redban is quick to defend against it.
Redban throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nakamara has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Redban finds it's way round the side to connect with Nakamara's head.
Redban goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Redban throws a hook to the side of Nakamara's head but Nakamara sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nakamara swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Redban misses with a straight left.
A big right from Redban misses.
Nakamara defending well as Redban loads up on a big left hand.
Redban tries a head kick but it misses.
Redban scores with a decent looking hook.
Redban is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Redban throws a looping overhand right but Nakamara ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rogan Redban dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Redban has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nakamara fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Redban throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nakamara moves away from the strike by Redban.
Redban misses with a two punch combination.
Redban is breathing heavily.

Nakamara shoots in and gets a takedown into Redban's guard.
Nakamara stopping the sweep attempt from Redban.
Nakamara passes Redban's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Nakamara looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Nakamara has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nakamara is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Redban is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
