Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Wang!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Klaus Van Kossen!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang fails with the takedown.

Wang has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Van Kossen is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Wang digs a right hand into Van Kossen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Van Kossen's gas tank.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Wang dominated that round.
That's time! Wang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Wang throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Van Kossen stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Wang follows into mount!


Van Kossen is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round!
Wang looking to control but Van Kossen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Van Kossen is still in real trouble! Can Wang finish him?

Wang is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Van Kossen misses with a few strikes there.
Van Kossen seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Van Kossen takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wang lands a brutal head kick. Van Kossen looks out on his feet and Wang throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). James Wang!
James Wang is the new bantamweight champion!
