The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wood crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Dragoon - the referee stops the clock and Wood gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Dragoon. Wood manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Wood instigates a clinch.
Dragoon scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dragoon has a couple of punches blocked by Wood.
Wood blocking some punches.
Wood is trying to break the clinch but Dragoon has him pressed against the cage.
Wood successfully pulls guard.
Wood keeping moving, preventing Dragoon from controlling successfully.
Dragoon wants to stand but Wood is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dragoon postures up in Wood's guard and throws a big left but Wood blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dragoon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Dragoon tries to stand but Wood is controlling from the bottom.
Wood looking to control but Dragoon passes into half guard.

Dragoon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wood is refusing to be controlled, as Dragoon sits in half guard.
Wood gets back to full guard.
Dragoon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Wood can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dragoon controls the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dragoon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dragoon wants to stand but Wood is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wood takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Wood is breathing heavily.
An inside leg kick from Dragoon misses.
Dragoon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wood eats them both and turns towards Dragoon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Bobby Wood has been cut.
Volkov Dragoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dragoon cracks Wood's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Wood slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Dragoon can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Volkov Dragoon!
The defeated Bobby Wood had this to say: 'I fucked this guys wife last night so I was tired and that's why I lost the fight. He is a fag and got lucky if I wasn't fucking his wife till 6am I would of won.'.
