Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onne Stokman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spud Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stokman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Justice - Stress. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace doesn't manage to clinch there - Stokman circles away.
Pace avoids the head kick by Stokman.
Stokman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stokman throws a sloppy head kick and Pace moves out of range easily.
Pace throws a leg kick but Stokman sees it coming and moves out of range.

Stokman has managed to clinch.

Pace jumps into guard, dragging Stokman to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stokman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Stokman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pace on the ground.
Stokman wants to stand but Pace is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Stokman kicks off Pace and gets to his feet.
Pace avoids the head kick by Stokman.
Pace moves out of range of the body kick.

Stokman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stokman circles away from the clinch attempt
and Stokman counters with a body kick.
Stokman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Pace fails with a takedown attempt.
Pace looks gassed!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Stokman, right into the meat.
Spud Pace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stokman lets loose with a powerful body kick. Pace will feel that in the morning.
Stokman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pace.Stokman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Good leg kick by Stokman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stokman as he jumps to the side.
Onne Stokman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spud Pace.
Pace misses with a takedown
and Stokman counters with a thumping low kick.
Pace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stokman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Pace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stokman sprawls well initially but Pace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stokman is trying to stand up here but Pace is controlling him well.
Pace wants to stand up but Stokman is controlling the position.

Pace wants to work for an arm triangle but Stokman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Pace is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Pace content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Stokman is trying to get back to full guard.
Pace has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Stokman works to full guard.
Stokman is pulling down on Pace's head to control his posture.
Stokman is trying to keep Pace in close.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Stokman looking for a sweep. Not yet Stokman, not yet.

Stokman has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pace off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Pace on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Stokman. Stokman obviously looking to wear him down.
Pace walks forward, straight into a front kick from Stokman.
Stokman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pace's calf.
Whack! Stokman lands a heavy head kick that drops Pace. The ref tackles Stokman to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pace was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Onne Stokman!
