The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puncher looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Puncher wanted to stand there but Guidal had control of the position.
Guidal wants to sweep here but Puncher controlling him for the moment.

Guidal had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Puncher is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guidal Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Puncher's back instead.

Puncher postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Guidal is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Puncher, into his guard.

Puncher tries to buck Guidal off but Guidal is having none of it.
Guidal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Puncher keeps working.
Puncher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guidal on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Kick Puncher will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Guidal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guidal is on top in guard.

Guidal is working to tighten is grip on Puncher's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Puncher has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Guidal is really squeezing tight and eventually Puncher passes out! Guidal breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
