Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Armand Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fary Fay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armand Bauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fary Fay!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bauer to the mat! Bauer manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fay preventing the sweep.
Bauer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fay pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bauer is keeping the position for now.
Fay seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Bauer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Fay stacks Bauer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Fay!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bauer tries to bench press Fay off him but Fay keeps the position.

Fay just content to control the position.

Fay is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bauer is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Fay remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Bauer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fay wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fay content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Bauer is looking for a sweep.
Fay controlling from side mount.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fay closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fay prevents Bauer from improving his position.

Bauer looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Fay is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bauer sees it coming and defends easily.
Fay sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bauer defending well though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fay is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Fay uses his free foot to push down on Bauer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bauer.
Bauer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fay on the ground.
Fay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bauer is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fary Fay dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Fay throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bauer was covering up waiting for the punch and Fay finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fay content to stall in guard here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bauer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fay's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Fay is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bauer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bauer has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fay is trying to keep Bauer in close.
Fay has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fay is pulling down on Bauer's head. It's preventing any offense from Bauer, at least for the moment.

Fay working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bauer has passed into half guard!
Fay controlling the position for now.

Fay regains full guard. Nicely done.
Bauer is looking to stand up but Fay won't let him.
Fay is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fay has an active guard here but Bauer has managed to pass into half guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bauer trying to control the action but Fay is working from the bottom.
Fay wants to control but Bauer is keeping busy.
Fay is trying to stand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Fay gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bauer wants to break the clinch but can't.

Fay has hold of one of Bauer's legs. Bauer is fighting the takedown attempt but Fay gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Fay passes Bauer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fary Fay showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Fay moves into range and clinches up with Bauer.

Fay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fay keeps the fight on the outside.
Bauer fails with an attempt to clinch.
Fary Fay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Fay shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fay was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bauer sneaks out the side door and pushes Fay away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Fay changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bauer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fay can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bauer is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fay prevents Bauer from getting the reversal.
Fay content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bauer blocking the ground and pound.

Fay looking to control but Bauer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Fay throwing strikes but Bauer bucks up and reverses the position. He's now in guard on top.

Fay working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bauer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bauer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fay is pulling down on Bauer's head to control his posture.

Fay wants to sweep here but Bauer controlling him for the moment.

Fay has his foot on Bauer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bauer works his way back into a safe position though.
Fay is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Fay closes the distance and clinches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Fay tightens his grip and picks Bauer up, before dumping him to the ground. Bauer manages to land in guard.
Fay wants to control from the top but Bauer keeps moving.
Armand Bauer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Fary Fay is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Fary Fay comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Fay has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
