Blackheart scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Nguyen manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Blackheart keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Blackheart told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Blackheart ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Blackheart no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Blackheart is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nguyen is controlling him.
Nguyen cracks Blackheart with a solid left hand.
Nguyen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nguyen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Blackheart can't hide his disappointment, as Nguyen celebrates the victory.
