PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jai McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jai McCracken!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willie Bader!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader closes the distance and clinches up with McCracken, looking for a takedown. Bader pushes McCracken against the cage but McCracken circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It looked like McCracken was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
McCracken throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bader shoots for a takedown but McCracken saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McCracken cracks Bader with a good jab.
McCracken misses with a few strikes there.
McCracken lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bader at a distance.
Bader takes a body punch but keeps moving.
McCracken misses with a hook. Bader ducked under it nicely.
McCracken misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As McCracken backs off Bader throws a huge counter combo but McCracken manages to avoid it all.
Bader takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
