Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paulo Lazaro!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellmuth Jr moves in looking to clinch but Lazaro pushes him off.
Hellmuth Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Lazaro.
Hellmuth Jr throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice defenses there by Hellmuth Jr.
Lazaro gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hellmuth Jr is looking to clinch but Lazaro is avoiding it.
Hellmuth Jr tries to clinch up.
Hellmuth Jr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lazaro on the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hellmuth Jr doesn't manage to clinch there - Lazaro circles away.
Lazaro ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hellmuth Jr moves away.
Hellmuth Jr is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Hellmuth Jr feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lazaro sprawling to the canvas! Lazaro rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hellmuth Jr finish him?!
It looks like Paulo Lazaro has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hellmuth Jr tries to clinch up.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lazaro! But no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lazaro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hellmuth Jr throws out the jab.

and Lazaro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lazaro looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Lazaro throws a lazy right hand but Hellmuth Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lazaro moves away from the strike by Hellmuth Jr.
Lazaro gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Hellmuth Jr gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Lazaro is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil Hellmuth Jr!
