Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jim Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Montana!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana digs a good hook to Dixon's body.
Dixon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tony Montana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montana lands a nice shot that snaps Dixon's head back.
Montana lands a right hook to the body.
Montana misses with an uppercut.
Montana throws a left and a right that both miss

and Dixon counters with a takedown into side control.
Montana wants to control but Dixon postures up.
Dixon landing a few strikes.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Montana prevents Dixon from improving position.
Dixon working the body and head with strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dixon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Montana really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dixon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Montana struggling a bit here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Montana is trying to improve his position.
Dixon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Dixon grinds an elbow into Montana's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dixon lands some shots froms side control.
Dixon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Montana defending against the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Montana can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dixon has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Dixon lands with some strikes.
Montana tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dixon lands a couple of good shots and Montana has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Montana can't escape the position.
Dixon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Montana is trying to remain composed but Dixon is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.

Montana is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Dixon. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Montana is still in real trouble! Can Dixon finish him?
Dixon lands shots to the head and Montana turtles up! The ref has seen enough and stops the fight! This one is over!
