Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Dirt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bjj Ground!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dirt closes the distance and clinches.

Ground has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dirt uses from the top position.

Ground is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dirt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dirt goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Ground is on top in guard.

Ground might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dirt haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dirt had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ground defends it easily.

Ground is pushing down on Dirt's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dirt is fighting to maintain full guard but Ground has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dirt has his hands clasped together around Ground's back. He's all about the action.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ground trying to control but Dirt is working from the bottom.
Dirt is pulling down on Ground's head to control his posture.

Ground tightens his grip and picks Dirt up, before dumping him to the ground. Dirt manages to land in guard.

Dirt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ground gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ground should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dirt sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ground's guard.

Ground tries to get to full guard but Dirt has control of the leg.
Ground trying to hold on to Dirt's head to control him but Dirt postures up.
Dirt looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Dirt is trying for a kimura here. Ground looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Dirt wins by kimura!
