And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy scores with a body shot.
Preuss fails with an attempt to clinch.
Preuss takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Preuss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Murphy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Murphy throws a nice inside leg kick.
Preuss doesn't manage to clinch there - Murphy circles away.
Murphy darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Both fighters circling a little - Murphy finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Preuss tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murphy swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Murphy scores with a push kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Murphy. That's going to slow Preuss down.
Preuss fails with an attempt to clinch.
Murphy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Murphy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A punch lands to the side of Preuss 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Murphy lands a slapping body shot.
Preuss tries to clinch but Murphy moves away

and Murphy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Preuss!

Murphy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Murphy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Preuss is working to avoid the ground and pound but Murphy connects with a decent elbow.

Murphy lands a few punches from side control.
Murphy has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Preuss!
Preuss is bucking up trying to escape but Murphy cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Murphy lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Preuss is rocked!
Preuss felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Preuss is still in real trouble! Can Murphy finish him?
Murphy cracks Preuss with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Murphy postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Preuss is out cold - huge knockout for Murphy!
