Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Craig Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cooper Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a low kick as Lawson jumps back.

Lawson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Lawson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.

and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lawson tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jones tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lawson manages to circle out of the way.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A jab-cross combination lands for Lawson and sends Jones crashing to the mat! Lawson follows him down to the mat - Jones regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Lawson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones is looking to improve his position.
Lawson lands a big elbow - Jones is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lawson!
