Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torquil Bram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mawzer VaraKolaudov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Torquil Bram!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mawzer VaraKolaudov!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bram looks to score with a jab to the body but VaraKolaudov is just out of range.
Bram tries to bum rush VaraKolaudov with a series of wild strikes but VaraKolaudov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
VaraKolaudov drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bram defends it well.
VaraKolaudov staying out of range there.
VaraKolaudov is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
VaraKolaudov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bram.
Bram lands a jab to the nose.


It looks like Mawzer VaraKolaudov has been cut.

VaraKolaudov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bram lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bram lands a jab to VaraKolaudov's midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bram forces VaraKolaudov back against the cage and clinches.
VaraKolaudov wants a takedown but no success here.
VaraKolaudov tries to score a body lock takedown but Bram shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

VaraKolaudov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bram gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Torquil Bram has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mawzer VaraKolaudov.
Bram swings wildly with an uppercut but VaraKolaudov uses good head movement to avoid it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that VaraKolaudov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

VaraKolaudov works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bram on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bram tries to get out of the position.
VaraKolaudov won't allow Bram to sweep him here.
VaraKolaudov tries to free his leg and advance position but Bram is retaining full guard.

VaraKolaudov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

VaraKolaudov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Well, if VaraKolaudov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
VaraKolaudov tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bram knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

VaraKolaudov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bram has managed to free his arm - good work.

VaraKolaudov maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Bram could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but VaraKolaudov has cracked it and Bram is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by VaraKolaudov!

Mawzer VaraKolaudov gave a mention to Zenith Nutrition (160q) in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
