Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between roy shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stone comes into a darkened arena with his song building. God Save the Queen kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Martin Stone was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
shaw looks for a takedown but Stone sprawls well.
shaw tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it.
shaw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stone's waist but Stone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing shaw off to one side.
shaw shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for roy shaw. That's going to take a lot out of him.
shaw is breathing heavily.
Stone dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Stone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stone showed some decent athleticism there.
shaw is refusing to be controlled, as Stone sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stone connects with a nice short shot to shaw's temple.
shaw is looking to escape.
Stone working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
shaw is looking to improve his position.
Stone trying to pass the guard but shaw defending well.

Stone is trying for a kimura here. shaw looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Stone wins by kimura!
