The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Frettish unleashes a big counter combination but Silva bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Frettish misses with a series of wild punches.
Frettish has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Frettish throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.
Silva has his takedown stuffed
and Frettish counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Andreago Silva has been cut.
Silva shoots in but Frettish avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreago Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Frettish was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Silva ducks right into an uppercut from Frettish.
Silva lands a nice leg kick that just misses Frettish's sensitive parts.
Frettish scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Andreago Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva shoots and misses
and Frettish comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Silva stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Frettish is on him like rabid pit bull! Silva slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
