Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chet Linkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daizu Mitsusada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitsusada has chosen A-Punk as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daizu Mitsusada!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitsusada keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mitsusada misses with a double jab.
Mitsusada throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Linkin.
Linkin working away.
Mitsusada is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Linkin wants to stand but Mitsusada has his arm trapped.
Linkin tries to advance to mount but Mitsusada instead regains half guard.

Linkin is tying to control. Mitsusada wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Linkin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mitsusada on the ground.
Well, if Linkin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Linkin is working for a kimura but Mitsusada is defending it quite comfortably.
Mitsusada wants to control but Linkin is keeping busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

It looks like Chet Linkin has been cut.
Linkin is looking to clinch but Mitsusada is avoiding it.
Linkin dodges the punch combination from Mitsusada.
Linkin wants to clinch up but Mitsusada keeps it at a distance.

and Linkin counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mitsusada!
Linkin wants to control the pace but Mitsusada is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Linkin avoids the attempt from Mitsusada to control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mitsusada avoids a series of strikes thrown by Linkin.
Mitsusada tries to reverse the position but Linkin maintains control.
Mitsusada is squirming around, avoiding Linkin's attempts to control the action.
Mitsusada regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mitsusada misses with a combination
and Linkin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mitsusada is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mitsusada is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Mitsusada manages to get to full guard.
Linkin trying to control the position from guard on top but Mitsusada is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Linkin wants to pass the guard but Mitsusada is keeping the position.
Mitsusada looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mitsusada looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mitsusada keeping moving, preventing Linkin from controlling successfully.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mitsusada working a defensive guard but Linkin manages to pass into side control anyway.
Mitsusada sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mitsusada tries to get to full guard but Linkin has control of the leg.
Linkin is looking to advance position but Mitsusada won't allow it.

Mitsusada wants to improve his position but Linkin is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Linkin seems content to control.
Mitsusada has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Linkin is working away from the top position though.
Mitsusada avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Linkin.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Linkin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mitsusada knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Linkin is looking to stall here but Mitsusada recovers full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mitsusada stuffs the takedown attempt from Linkin. Linkin gets slowly back to his feet.
Mitsusada looking to land some kicks to the body here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mitsusada moves into range and connects with a jab.
Mitsusada misses with a wild combination.
Linkin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chet Linkin will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Mitsusada throws a shot from downtown. Linkin moves away and avoids it.
Mitsusada works Linkin's body with a nice hook.
Linkin takes a jab right on the kisser.
A jab lands there for Mitsusada.
Mitsusada lands a head kick. Linkin smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Mitsusada lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mitsusada.
Mitsusada just misses with a punch to the body.
Linkin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mitsusada swivels and escapes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mitsusada scores with a decent looking hook.
Mitsusada's corner calls for a 1-2. Mitsusada obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A jab-cross combination lands for Mitsusada and sends Linkin crashing to the mat! Mitsusada follows him down to the mat - Linkin regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Linkin is rocked!
Mitsusada is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Oh Linkin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Linkin won't allow Mitsusada to pass to mount.
Linkin seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mitsusada not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Mitsusada passes into side control, despite Linkin's attempt to control the position.
Mitsusada looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Linkin is avoiding damage well.
Mitsusada has an Americana. Linkin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mitsusada is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mitsusada hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
