Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Basilan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nem Sis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tsunami. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Basilan connects with a body shot.
Sis misses with a leg kick
letting Basilan counter with a right hand.
Sis tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Basilan swivels and escapes.
Basilan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Basilan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sis.

Nem Sis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Basilan's calf.

That was a close round but I would say that Felix Basilan will probably get the nod.

The fight stays on the outside here - Basilan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sis duly obliges.

Basilan catches Sis with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
That kick from Basilan tenderised Sis's leg. Sis is trying to keep his angry face on.
Basilan throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Sis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Basilan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sis under the eye.

Sis finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Sis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Basilan to score with a decent uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Basilan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sis has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sis there as he acknowledges the shot.

Sis closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sis tries to work over Basilan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Basilan clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

You can see the frustration on Basilan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Sis is looking for a rear naked choke here but Basilan reverses the position brilliantly into Sis's guard!

Sis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Basilan is bucking up trying to escape but Sis cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
