Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Landon Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kool Keith!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keith throws a low kick, looking for Austin's leg but Austin calmly moves out of range.
Keith staying out of range there.
Austin connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Keith throws a hook but Austin blocks it.
Keith throws an off balance right hand
and Austin counters with a nice leg kick.
Austin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Keith.
Keith throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Keith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Nice straight punches there by Keith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Keith.
Keith misses with a body shot.
Keith fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Austin checks it well.
Austin misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Austin finds it's way through Keith's defenses.
Keith scores with a hook to the body. Austin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've been told by Austin's head coaches at Altaca gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Austin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Keith.
Austin lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kool Keith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Austin throws a head kick that Keith semi-blocks.
Keith fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Austin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The crowd cheers as Keith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Austin doesn't seem phased though.

Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Keith fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Austin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Austin throws the left hand but Keith avoids the punch easily.
A little jabbing left from Keith on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Austin lands with a kick to the temple. Keith shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Austin throws out a leg kick but Keith moves out of range and Austin only half commits.
Austin scores with a head kick.
Austin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Austin misses with an attempted mid kick.
Keith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Austin moves away.
Austin feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Keith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Austin finds it's way round the side to connect with Keith's head.

Keith throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Austin misses with a head kick.
A jab from Keith does it's job there.
Austin throws an overhand right that lands on Keith's shoulder, as Keith tries to avoid the shot.
Austin is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Keith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Keith tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Austin throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Keith is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Austin takes a swing at Keith's ribcage but misses.
Keith throws a leg kick which misses Austin's front leg but catches the back leg as Austin tries to avoid it.
Keith works the jab nicely.
Keith takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Keith lands a nice shot to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Austin. That's going to slow Keith down.
Keith cracks the inside of Austin's front leg.
Keith connects with a body shot.
Keith comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Austin takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

and Austin counters with a big head kick but Keith shrugs it off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Landon Austin will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Keith's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Austin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Keith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Keith scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Austin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Keith.
Austin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Keith lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


Austin is rocked!
Keith plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Austin swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Austin face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
