Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Rusty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Quattro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikhail Rusty could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Quattro's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Rusty.
Rusty tries a head kick but it misses.
Rusty connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Rusty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Quattro.
Rusty throws a leg kick which misses Quattro's front leg but catches the back leg as Quattro tries to avoid it.
Rusty goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Rusty pushes Quattro away with a front kick.
Rusty throws a leg kick that misses.
Rusty chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Quattro blocks a head kick by Rusty.
Rusty closes this distance looking for a takedown but Quattro circles away.
Rusty shoots in looking for a takedown. Quattro tries to sprawl out of it but Rusty keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quattro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rusty does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rusty shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rusty tries to lock up and control but Quattro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Rusty doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Quattro counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rusty's guard now.

Quattro is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Rusty has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Quattro wants to stand up but Rusty manages to regain full guard.

Rusty manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Quattro manages to get himself to full guard.

That's time! Rusty's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Rusty cracks the inside of Quattro's front leg.

Quattro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Quattro lands in his opponent's guard.
Rusty wants to control but Quattro passes easily into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rusty is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Quattro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Quattro's back!
Rusty is controlling the position but Quattro somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Rusty looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Rusty seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rusty is pressing down on Quattro's thigh, looking to free his foot. Quattro is holding on for now.
Rusty seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Quattro does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Quattro counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Quattro.
