Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hideya Kaayi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikkel Michelsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaayi throws out a powerful jab.
Michelsen misses with a head kick.
Kaayi throws a body punch but Michelsen moves out of range.

Michelsen drives through and clinches with Kaayi against the cage.
Kaayi gets through Michelsen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Kaayi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kaayi swings for the body but Michelsen moves out of range.

Kaayi waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Michelsen. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Michelsen to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kaayi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Michelsen is still in real trouble! Can Kaayi finish him?
Kaayi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Michelsen seems to have recovered his senses.
Kaayi works over Michelsen with some ground and pound from guard.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kaayi and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kaayi can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
