Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeks with a lazy takedown attempt
and Morris counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Weeks thinking.

Morris drives through with a takedown into guard.

Weeks scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Weeks might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weeks swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Morris is fighting to break Weeks's control of his arms but Weeks is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morris wants to pass the guard but Weeks is keeping the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
No joy there for Morris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morris stalks Weeks and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Weeks's face. Weeks staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Freddie Weeks has been cut.

Morris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Weeks quickly recovers to half guard.

Weeks manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Morris keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Morris pulls Weeks into guard.
Weeks trying to stand up but can't free himself from Morris's guard.
Weeks stopping the sweep attempt from Morris.
Morris managing to control the position.
Morris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Weeks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Morris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weeks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Weeks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morris can do anything to dispel that myth.
Weeks throwing strikes from guard but Morris blocks nicely.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Weeks is looking to stand up but Morris won't let him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Morris clinches with his opponent.
Weeks wants a takedown but no success here.

Weeks has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morris is working away from the top position though.

Morris thows a huge punch but Weeks dodges it nicely.
Morris is stalling here. Weeks is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Morris seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Weeks has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Morris explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Morris lands a two punch combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh!!! Morris has knocked Weeks down with a huge combo! Morris steps away and waves a wobbly Weeks back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Weeks is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Morris has Weeks up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Weeks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Morris wants the takedown. Weeks is fighting it off but Morris persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Weeks's guard against the cage.

Weeks pushes Morris off and gets back to his feet.

Morris closes the distance looking for a takedown. Weeks stuffs it but Morris still has hold of him. Morris picks Weeks up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Morris slams Weeks to the floor and that's really hurt Weeks - he doesn't know where he is! Morris throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Morris!
