Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther Heggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Pinksy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heggs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Heggs was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Pinksy misses with a body kick.
Pinksy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heggs manages to avoid it.
Heggs takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Pinksy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Good work by Heggs as he checks the leg kick.
Pinksy tries a head kick but it misses.
A jab from Pinksy finds it's way through Heggs's defenses.
Heggs takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Pinksy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
It looked like Heggs wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pinksy misses with a lunging right hand
letting Heggs counter with a right hand.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heggs, as that shot connected.
It looks like Drew Pinksy has been cut.
Pinksy throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Pinksy thows a left - swing and a miss!

Pinksy moves out of range of the body kick.
Pinksy tries to land a front kick but Heggs steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Drew Pinksy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pinksy is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Heggs ducks under a wild hook from Pinksy.
Heggs is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Heggs looks to land a right hand but Pinksy moved out of range.
Pinksy throws a lazy right hand but Heggs sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pinksy misses with a combination
and Heggs counters with a crisp right hand that drops Pinksy! Heggs lets Pinksy back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Heggs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pinksy throws a wild body kick that Heggs sees coming a mile off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pinksy lands a body shot.
Pinksy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Heggs.
Heggs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pinksy.

Pinksy dips to his left and cracks Heggs with an uppercut!
Pinksy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pinksy, right into the meat.
A head kick misses from Heggs.
Pinksy throws a hook but Heggs avoids it easily.
Pinksy gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Heggs gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Pinksy is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luther Heggs!
