Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Macapinlac Co (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotr Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Macapinlac Co!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Piotr Kowalski!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski is looking to clinch but Co is avoiding it.

Kowalski moves into the clinch.

Kowalski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kowalski fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kowalski has Co up against the cage in a clinch.
Co swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kowalski drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Co gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kowalski is stalling here.
Kowalski wants a takedown.
Co is looking to control Kowalski's arms but Kowalski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Co has his back to the cage.
Kowalski has Co pressed against the cage.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Co tries to break the clinch but Kowalski is controlling the position.

Co's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kowalski tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Co paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kowalski moves in looking to clinch but Co pushes him off.
Co clinches but Kowalski breaks the clinch

and Kowalski counters with a single leg into guard. Co didn't expect that.

Kowalski trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Co keeping moving, preventing Kowalski from controlling successfully.
Co is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kowalski dives into side control.
Co is pushing Kowalski's head away, looking to escape. Kowalski manages to hold on to the position though.
You can see the frustration on Co's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Co is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kowalski is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kowalski looks to land a strike but Co avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Kowalski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A head punch on the inside from Co fails to land.
Kowalski controlling the action here for a moment.
Co makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Co pushes Kowalski back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kowalski is pushing Co up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Co prevents a takedown attempt there.
Macapinlac Co has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piotr Kowalski.
Kowalski can't get the takedown.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Kowalski is trying to drag Co to the mat but Co just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kowalski tightens his grip and picks Co up, before dumping him to the ground. Co manages to land in guard.

Kowalski drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Co dives on top into guard.

Co wants to stand up but Kowalski has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Co decides to stand and escape the position.

Kowalski ducks under a wild hook from Co.
Kowalski darts in trying to clinch
and Co counters with a head kick.
Co tries to clinch there but Kowalski circles away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Co, right into the meat.
Kowalski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Co lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
