Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kent Duong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and georges st pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Duong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, georges st pierre!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duong misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from st pierre.
Duong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Duong.
st pierre misses with a double jab.
Duong throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Duong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and st pierre counters with a one-two to the body.
Duong tries to bum rush st pierre with a series of wild strikes but st pierre uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Duong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. st pierre looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Duong has knee on belly and moves into mount.
st pierre stops Duong from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
st pierre tries to reverse the position but Duong maintains control.

Duong is working for a guillotine from mount but st pierre frees his head quite easily.
Duong prevents st pierre from getting the reversal.

Duong working for a submission but st pierre is keeping him at bay.
Duong fails to advance to st pierre's back.

st pierre regains half guard.

Duong is looking for a kimura but st pierre is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Duong to get the leverage.
Duong is breathing heavily.

st pierre is defending against the submission attempts here by Duong.
st pierre wants to improve his position but Duong is controlling well.
Duong works his way into full mount!
st pierre regains half guard.

Duong has control of st pierre's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and st pierre regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Duong is trying to take his opponent's back.

st pierre defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Duong.

Duong goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now st pierre is on top in guard.

Duong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
st pierre throwing strikes but missing.

Duong looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Duong looking to hit a scissor sweep but st pierre is one step ahead there.
st pierre must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Duong throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! st pierre escapes and throws Duong's legs to the side, diving into side control!
st pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

st pierre wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Duong, who protects the arm well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kent Duong dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Duong scores a takedown into full mount!

Duong goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now st pierre is on top in guard.
Duong looking for a sweep. Not yet Duong, not yet.

Duong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. st pierre gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
st pierre wants to control from the top but Duong keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Duong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. st pierre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. st pierre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Duong tries to land a sweep but no joy.

st pierre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Duong had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. st pierre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Duong Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take st pierre's back instead.
Duong is hanging on to st pierre's back as he tries to escape.
st pierre is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Duong off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Kent Duong overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Duong working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. st pierre is doing well to defend. Duong seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! st pierre is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kent Duong!
