The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hubert clinches with his opponent.
Maya fails to pull guard.
Hubert stalling.
Maya tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hubert lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Damon Maya has been cut.
Hubert lands an elbow inside that Maya shrugs off.
Hubert creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Maya's defenses.
Hubert gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That has opened up Damon Maya's cut even more.
Hubert gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Maya.
John Hubert has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Maya.
Maya tries for a takedown but Hubert manages to get underhooks.
Hubert with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
