Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Yakubitskaya!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunines on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yakubitskaya lands a jab-cross combination.
Yakubitskaya avoids the body shot from Gunines.
Kenji Yakubitskaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gunines gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Yakubitskaya.
Gunines fails to land the takedown.
Gunines takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gunines looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Yakubitskaya tries to clinch but Gunines moves away

and Gunines counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gunines wants to pass to mount but Yakubitskaya is defending the position.
Gunines uses his free foot to push down on Yakubitskaya's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Yakubitskaya.
Gunines takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Gunines seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yakubitskaya for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gunines working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Yakubitskaya turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gunines off and cradles Yakubitskaya's limp body as Gunines celebrates with his corner.
