The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozolins tries to move into range but Davis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Davis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ozolins shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Ozolins looks to move away, Davis throws a big counter combo bu Ozolins just gets out of the way.
Davis avoids a kick to the body.
Davis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Davis wants it to stay on the feet.

Davis moves into range and clinches up with Ozolins.

Ozolins lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Davis backwards.
Ozolins has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Davis avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Ozolins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marcus Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ozolins fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ozolins changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Davis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ozolins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ozolins scrambles back to his feet.
